Downloading Tips

Downloading Our Designs

Files can be downloaded from the web page associated with the design. If you purchase a commercial license, you won't receive a separate download link. We recommend downloading and testing all designs prior to purchasing a license.

If you experience any problems with downloading, please read the tips on the rest of this page before contacting us. It is extremely rare for a download issue to be caused by anything on our end.

Downloading on a Tablet or Phone

You will likely need additional apps in order to download and use our designs on a mobile device. We recommend using a desktop or laptop computer for the best results. We are unable to provide any support for mobile devices. Read this article for more information.

Opening Files Instead of Downloading

Make sure you are actually downloading the file rather than opening it. If your browser gives you a choice of downloading or opening the file, make sure you choose to download it. If you don't see that option, try right clicking on the download button and selecting "Save Link As" (or the equivalent in your browser).

Is Your Download Blocked By Security Software or Policies?

If you use a firewall, antivirus software, or other security software, you may need to adjust your settings to download the file.

Browser plugins like ad and script blockers may also interfere with your ability to download. Try temporarily disabling them and attempt the download again. You can enable them again after downloading.

Some workplaces (especially schools and government offices) may have security restrictions that prevent you from downloading or using files. You need to contact your network administrator for help with this. Otherwise, you will need to download your file at home or through another network outside of your workplace.

Try Downloading on a Different Computer

If a download isn't working on one computer, try downloading on another if possible. It's possible the problem is caused by settings, security software, etc. on your computer.

Try Downloading Later

It's possible that a temporary connection issue could prevent you from downloading. Wait awhile and try again later.

The File Is Corrupt

If you receive an error that the file is corrupt when trying to open it, here are a few things to try:

  • Try downloading it again. Sometimes a file doesn't download properly. Downloading again may resolve the issue.
  • Make sure the file has been unzipped before opening. This is only applicable if the download is a ZIP file.
  • Use a compatible program for the type of file you are trying to open.
